Britain’s organic farming capital has joined a network of Transition Towns, which have had enough of George Bush and simply can’t wait for you lot to get off your fat buns and kick your Ryanair habit. They’re raising a town wind turbine, planting nut trees (good for the muesli) and stuffing their draughty nooks and crannies with sustainable sheep’s wool, before floating off into the sunset. Mad?
