The Vertex developer hit with HK$770,000 fine over disclosure failures


The developer of The Vertex – a residential project in Cheung Sha Wan once owned by failed property giant China Evergrande Group – has been fined HK$770,000 (US$98,100) for failing to properly record transactions related to the complex.
Twin City Holdings Limited was found to have violated a residential properties ordinance by failing to disclose details of payment terms – such as price discounts and other financial incentives – on sales at the development, according to a government statement…
