Beijing’s latest raft of tougher measures to curb home buying appear to be having the desired effect, after the latest figures showed sales growth has slowed sharply across the country.
The value of homes sold rose 39.3 per cent in the first 11 months of this year, down from a 42.6 per cent increase January to October, according to the data released by National Bureau of Statistics on Tuesday.
