You could end up paying £70 for an hour’s parking. Last August, I featured the case of a reader who was fined for parking in the large pay-and-display car park, despite buying and displaying a ticket.On appeal, they discovered that half the car park is operated by NCP – with its own ticket machines – and half by the council with its own machines.
