UK house prices fall 1% after Brexit vote, says Halifax


Building society records month-on-month fall in July but defies increasingly negative expert consensus by saying growth rates appear sturdyHouse prices fell 1% last month following the vote to leave the EU, a survey by Halifax, Britain’s biggest mortgage lender, shows.The month-on-month fall took the average house price to £214,678.
