Two-night jazz festival and fundraiser coming to Kota Kinabalu

One evening is not enough for a celebration of jazz music at the Kota Kinabalu Jazz Festival. The annual musical event, which started in 2007, will return this month at the Sutera Harbour, Covered Tennis Court, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The event will feature the finest jazz musicians and singers from Malaysia and overseas.
According to the organisers of the festival, Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu (RCKK) and the Society of Performing Arts Kota Kinabalu Sabah (SPArKS), the money to be raised from ticket sales will be used to fund community service programmes, such as literacy and water-cleaning campaigns, in Sabah.
Ticket prices are as follows: MYR100 (USD25) for a single-night pass and MYR150 (USD38) for a two-night pass.
