Instead of delivering on Valentine’s Day they were a day lateYou recently covered a complaint about Debenhams’ failure to deliver flowers for Christmas. A similar thing happened to me when it failed to deliver flowers I ordered, two weeks in advance, for Valentine’s Day at a cost of more than £30. Zero communication meant I didn’t have the chance to buy flowers elsewhere as I obviously was expecting them to be delivered. They turned up the next day but were brown around the edges. Customer service offered a refund (in three to five working days!) and £15 store credit. Apparently, it had a computer problem which meant some people who ordered for Valentine’s Day got the wrong flowers and others nothing at all. Continue reading…
