Stuck for a parking space? Why not rent someone's empty driveway


For homeowners with drive space to spare, it’s easy money, reports Graham NorwoodHard-pressed homeowners have found a new way of earning an income from their properties – they rent out garages, or even driveways, to “tenants” wanting guaranteed parking spaces.Anthony Sallis, an insurance executive, rents out half of the driveway at his home at Sheldon, Birmingham, close to the M42 and M6 intersection. “I live about five miles from the airport and have a large drive but only one car.
