Pre-owned home sales dominate market in leading cities


Sales of Beijing’s pre-owned homes are now 5.7 times those of the city’s new homes, a prime example of a seismic shift in property markets in China’s largest cities over the past decade.
A Centaline Market Research report said up to December 26 this year, sales of pre-owned homes in Beijing hit a record 267,860 units, accounting for 85 per cent of private market transaction (excluding government subsidised homes).
