Ong Choon Fah named new chair of ULI Singapore

Ong Choon Fah, current CEO and head of research & consulting at Edmund Tie & Company, has been appointed as the new chair of Singapore for the Urban Land Institute (ULI). She succeeds Khoo Teng Chye, executive director for the Centre for Liveable Cities (CLC), Ministry of National Development (MND), who held the position for two years.
Choon Fah brings with her over 25 years of experience in academia and real estate spanning across different sectors, with private and public sector clients, for profit and non-profit organisations, occupiers, institutions, investors and REITs.
“It is an honour for me to be invited to be Chair of ULI Singapore, building on the outstanding work that Teng Chye has done,” she said.
“I obviously want to cater to the needs of ULI’s existing members but I also want to further promote the great work that ULI is doing in Singapore and to work with both the public and educational sectors in helping to extend ULI’s mission in the market.”
Among her plans for the institute are to expand ULI’s advisory services programme by implementing technical assistance panels (TAPs) in Singapore and form another product council.
