As more stories of people being defrauded in a highly lucrative email con trick come to light, pressure is growing on the bank at the centre of it allBarclays is coming under growing pressure to explain why so many acts of fraud involve the use of its accounts after more cases came to light involving people being conned out of thousands of pounds.Following our article a week ago about a couple who lost £25,000 after falling victim to a highly sophisticated email scam, several people have contacted Guardian Money to say that they too have been defrauded.
