I had attended my MP’s surgery, and this was perhaps the pick of a plethora of platitudes.I had been provoked to see him because I could no longer confine my outrage at the growing inequality to shouting at the telly; an outrage reinforced by its impact on my grandson.His generation, saddled with student debt, exploited with rent, zero-houred, minimum-waged, interned, will simply never be able to save sufficient money for a deposit.
