Hong Kong’s February home price index rises to record


Home prices of Hong Kong, the world’s least affordable major city, rose for the 11th consecutive month to a record in February, as buyers swarmed new apartment projects to place bookings before the city’s banks raise their mortgage rates.
Ferbruary’s home price index rose 1.1 per cent to 312.8, from January’s 309.4, according to data from the Ratings & Valuation Department.
