A classic 70s house in the woods near Oxford was once a place of political debateFor Laura Watts, the best thing about her parents’ house, with its striking early 70s design, was always the woodland which surrounds it. “It’s a bit like a treehouse, with enormous windows,” she says. “Crows used to peck on the windows and wake us up in the mornings. You’d see deer walking by, and rabbits. There were lots of tiny frogs at the pond.
