Homebuyers maybe paying too much for insurance, says research


14% took out policy with mortgage lender, with some doing so because they thought it might help mortgage applicationHomebuyers have been warned they could be paying more than necessary for home insurance after research revealed one in seven took out policies with their mortgage lender.The study by Gocompare.com found 14% of homeowners decided to opt for that route.
