Tall and stately, in many shades, they stand rain remarkably well. Next in height comes the blue and white monkshood, Aconitum Bicolor, the first of its family to bloom. The peach-leafed bell-flower and Campanula Grandis grow from 2ft to 3ft high. The Platycodon is another of this family with an uncommon beauty, handsome shrubby growth and curious balloon-shaped buds and deep blue flowers.
