Foxtons moves to the suburbs amid central London slowdown


Estate agent expects Walthamstow to be more important than Pimlico as London house buyers are pushed to outer zonesFoxtons has said it expects Walthamstow to become more important for its business than Pimlico, as the estate agent reported a slowdown in central London property transactions in 2015. Nic Budden, the Foxtons chief executive, said despite lower property prices, higher numbers of house sales meant there were £1.6m more potential revenues in the east London suburb than its more salubrious rival at the other end of the Victoria line.
