Prudential and Old Mutual under scrutiny as regulator looks at treatment of long-standing pension and savings customersBritain’s financial watchdog has criticised the way some life insurance firms have treated their long-standing customers and is carrying out a further investigation into six firms including Prudential and Old Mutual.The other firms being investigated are Abbey Life, now owned by Deutsche Bank; Scottish Widows, part of Lloyds Banking Group; Countrywide and Police Mutual.
