China excavator sales surge 71 per cent in September amid infrastructure pickup


The hot property market in China has propelled a surge in September sales of excavators in the country, industry data showed.
Some 5,456 excavators were sold by 26 major construction machinery producers in China last month, a gain of 71 per cent from a year earlier and a 25 per cent increase on sales recorded for August, according to figures published on the website of China Construction Machinery Trade.
