‘GetCash’ system from RBS and NatWest utilises mobile phone app to let customers withdraw cash without using a debit cardFirst it was contactless payments, now you don’t even need a card to get cash. The cardless cash machine has become a reality after Royal Bank of Scotland/NatWest announced that customers can now withdraw cash from an ATM without using their debit card.The innovation, called “GetCash”, allows customers to send a code via their mobile phone to someone else, such as a relative, friend or tradesman, which they can then use to withdraw cash from any RBS or NatWest ATM.
