Emails offering taxpayers a refund use convincing email addresses but should be ignoredHM Revenue & Customs today warned taxpayers about a fresh rash of scam emails using convincing but fake government email addresses.An email which uses the address securemail@hmrc.gov.uk claims recipients are eligible to receive a tax refund, and invites them to complete an online form or click on a link to submit a tax refund request.
