\nHKR International, the developer behind Discovery Bay \u2013 the popular residential complex on Hong Kong\u2019s Lantau island \u2013 has challenged the government\u2019s allowable land-use density on the 650-hectare site, saying much of its nearby countryside is still way under used.
\nHong Kong currently faces a chronic shortage of available land on which to build homes.
