\nI want give our home to my wife and go and buy a property in Wales where she might join me Q My wife and I have a different outlook on the future. I wish to go and live in Wales and buy a home for myself to live in. I am happy to give our home to my wife (in the hope that she would see sense and join me). I understand that the government may see me as having an ulterior motive, but this is not the case. I want no money from any future sale. We own the house outright.Can I have my name removed from the family home and not be liable for any taxes or stamp duties? If you could advise me I would be grateful. RG Continue reading…
