\nHong Kong conglomerate Goldin Financial Holdings plans to sell two pieces of land in the city\u2019s Ho Man Tin area worth HK$12.4 billion (US$1.6 billion) to mainland billionaire Pan Sutong, who is also the company\u2019s chairman.
\nShares in the company soared by as much as 18 per cent, amid a 0.84 per cent decline in the Hang Seng Index, when news of the sale broke. Its stock closed at 30,378 on Wednesday morning.\u00a0
