\nFor the many people who can\u2019t afford to buy, it\u2019s galling that so many MPs are profiting from renters \u2013 and have an interest in keeping house prices highOh, Tony Blair. You don\u2019t make it easy for the left to like you, do you? It was bad enough when it was just ID cards, cuddling up to selected dictators, and the occasional bout of war \u2013 but since he left office, he\u2019s really gone over to the dark side. Now, it seems, the Blair family are buy-to-let landlords, too.For those who may have missed this truly shocking development, here\u2019s a quick recap. A Guardian investigation published this week found that the Blairs own at least 10 houses and 27 flats, worth an estimated \u00a327m between them. Some of these are just the sort of properties that any self-respecting family possesses: an \u00a38m family home in London, a \u00a3750k country pile, a \u00a31m-plus property for each of the Blair\u2019s three grown-up children \u2026 I mean, we\u2019ve all got at least one of those, right?
