\nNearly 70 years after it was published, with sales of 16 million and climbing, HTWFAIP can claim to be the grandaddy of all management handbooks. But one shouldn’t be too harsh on Carnegie for that; he could have hardly predicted the tosh that was to follow.Quite the worst thing about it is the title, which reflects the gung-ho self-interest that is supposedly the hallmark of corporate movers and shakers.
