\nThe year 2017 went by so quickly and was dominated by positive news of improved developer sentiment resulting from strong sales at condo launches. At the same time, there was a flurry of collective sales deals which are expected to continue in the coming months.

\nIn terms of location, Punggol in District 19 is an up-and-coming estate for younger home buyers and investors. It\u2019s not a mature town yet, so property prices there are generally lower compared to other areas like Ang Mo Kio or Bishan. As it develops further, prices will rise leading to higher capital appreciation in the long term.
\nLooking abroad, the UK city of Birmingham seems like a promising destination for Asian investors due to its more affordable prices compared to Manchester or London. Its booming economy also means there\u2019s been lots of investments in infrastructure, such as its Big City Plan.
