\nKelsey Marshall and her boyfriend, Chris Eidam, both 27 years old, call the home-buying process \u201cterrifying\u201d. But they are clear about one thing \u2013 it beats the heck out of renting.
\n\u201cWe\u2019re wasting money where we are right now\u201d, near Bridgeport, Connecticut, Eidam said. \u201cWe just take our rent and we throw it away. That money doesn\u2019t go to anything.\u201d
