\nI claimed \u00a3123 from LV= for broken spectacles but my premium has gone up by \u00a371I am in dispute with LV= over the renewal of my home insurance which has gone up from of \u00a3160 to \u00a3231. When I queried this by phone I was told it was mostly due to a claim I had made a month earlier \u2013 the first in five years. That was for a broken spectacles frame with a replacement cost of \u00a3123. I only received \u00a373 after the \u00a350 excess was deducted, which is almost the same as the increase in premium.
