Historically it\u2019s been very exposed to government policy intervention and that continues,\u201d said Graham Mackie, real estate head for Asia Pacific at UBS Asset Management.<br \/>\nSEE ALSO: Morgan Stanley: Home prices to rise by 8% in 2018 \u00a0<br \/>\nNevertheless, UBS is interested in investing in Singapore\u2019s business parks and light industrial projects, as government policies are more favourable to these segments given the authorities\u2019 goal of creating a more service-oriented economy.<br \/>\nLikewise, the financial institution is bullish on Hong Kong commercial real estate like offices and retail space, but it currently doesn\u2019t want to bet its money on the city\u2019s residential sector due to \u201csevere\u201d property curbs.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nRomesh Navaratnarajah, Senior Editor at PropertyGuru, edited this story.
