{"id":59052,"date":"2017-06-27T10:57:16","date_gmt":"2017-06-27T03:57:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.siamlandbank.com\/propertynews\/property-news\/sales-of-sentosa-cove-homes-rebound\/"},"modified":"2017-06-27T10:59:00","modified_gmt":"2017-06-27T03:59:00","slug":"sales-of-sentosa-cove-homes-rebound","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.siamlandbank.com\/propertynews\/property-news\/sales-of-sentosa-cove-homes-rebound\/","title":{"rendered":"Sales of Sentosa Cove homes rebound"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#013;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSales of upscale houses in Sentosa Cove is starting to pick up despite reports of many unoccupied units and home owners selling their homes houses at huge losses, reported The Straits Times.<br \/>\nSo far this year, caveats have been lodged for seven bungalows at the posh enclave collectively worth S$102.7 million compared to four in 2016 with a combined value of $64.5 million, statistics from CBRE revealed.<br \/>\nWhile Sentosa Cove is the only place in the city-state where foreigners who are not permanent residents are allowed to purchase landed houses, six of the seven bungalow transactions year-to-date involved Singaporeans.<br \/>\nAccording to CBRE Realty Associates\u2019 Vice President for resale Steve Tay, bungalows there have piqued the interest of locals and permanent residents after prices have started declining since mid-2015.<br \/>\n\u201cOne of the main reasons for the return in interest is that the gap between buyers\u2019 and sellers\u2019 expectations has narrowed.\u201d<br \/>\nSo far this year, the priciest bungalow sold was at Lakeshore View at Sentosa Cove.
