\nOur gardening expert has the answerI grow fruit and vegetables organically in my front garden in boarded raised beds. I would love to\u00a0grow blueberries, but I know they need an acidic soil. How can I\u00a0create a bed for them without using any peat-based products?Peat-free soil for acid-loving plants does exist, but you might not be able\u00a0to get it from every garden centre you visit. The best one I\u2019ve\u00a0tried is made by Melcourt and is\u00a0called SylvaGrow ericaceous compost \u2013 this is the bee\u2019s knees, although I\u2019d say that about all\u00a0of this\u00a0company\u2019s composts. You\u00a0can get hold of it online and it\u2019s\u00a0also available from a number of good garden centres: visit melcourt.co.uk for a\u00a0list of stockists.
