\nA life coach, her family and two teenage refugees live a life full of joy in their colourful Kent cottage. By Anna Lambert\u201cThis house has come together through a series of random choices,\u201d says Oeda O\u2019Hara of the Victorian Kentish cottage that she shares with husband Michael, her 20-year-old son Finlay and two teenage refugees, one from Afghanistan and one from Eritrea. \u201cIt should be chaos but the decoration works because as long as we\u2019ve got colour around us, we\u2019re happy.\u201dOeda (pronounced Ooda), who\u2019s a life coach, first moved to this cottage, near Tonbridge, as a tenant 20 years ago. She viewed it as a stopgap while she and Michael, a business consultant, looked for somewhere permanent to accommodate their growing family. \u201cThere was nowhere we liked as much as here, though,\u201d she recalls, \u201cso eventually we asked the landlord if he\u2019d be willing to sell.
