\nHenderson Land Development Co., the property company owned by one of Hong Kong\u2019s wealthiest families, has bought what\u2019s quite possibly the world\u2019s most expensive plot of commercial land in downtown Central.
\nHenderson will pay a record HK$23.28 billion (US$3 billion) for the government\u2019s Murray Road commercial plot in Central, according to data by the Lands Department. A five-storey public car park currently stands at the site.
