But even on a regular day, dating isn\u2019t necessarily cheap, and this particular generation has to deal with some extraordinary financial circumstances. Lower salaries and decreased financial security has forced some to tighten their belts in every aspect of life, including loveA recent study by Match.com showed that American singles spend about $60 a month on dating. If you live in a big city, you may laugh at that modest sum.
