{"id":48910,"date":"2017-03-21T10:26:46","date_gmt":"2017-03-21T03:26:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.siamlandbank.com\/propertynews\/property-news\/jll-named-top-dealmaker-in-asia-pacific\/"},"modified":"2017-03-21T10:30:21","modified_gmt":"2017-03-21T03:30:21","slug":"jll-named-top-dealmaker-in-asia-pacific","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.siamlandbank.com\/propertynews\/property-news\/jll-named-top-dealmaker-in-asia-pacific\/","title":{"rendered":"JLL named top dealmaker in Asia Pacific"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#013;<br \/>\nJLL handled US$20.4 billion worth of investment deals in 2016, the highest in the region.<br \/>\nFor the sixth year in a row, JLL has been crowned the best property investment advisory firm in Asia Pacific by Real Capital Analytics (RCA), an independent body that analyses real estate transaction volumes worldwide.<br \/>\nAccording to data published by RCA, the property consultancy handled US$20.4 billion worth of investment deals in 2016, representing 27.5 percent of the market share, or the highest in the region.<br \/>\nJLL also came in tops in three out of six investment categories covered by the RCA ranking, namely in retail, apartments and hotels. In particular, it led the hospitality segment with US$1.8 billion in sales \u2013 a 41.8 percent lion\u2019s share.<br \/>\n\u201cWe are absolutely thrilled to be recognised for the sixth consecutive year in the RCA ranking,\u201d said Stuart Crow, JLL\u2019s Head of Asia Pacific Capital Markets.<br \/>\nHe noted that property transactions in the region reached a record high last year in terms of value, given the entry of new investors, including sovereign wealth funds along with pension and insurance funds.<br \/>\n\u201cThese investors \u2013 whether they are in the region or outside \u2013 are allocating more capital to real estate so we expect to see more big deals and continued healthy volumes in 2017,\u201d Crow added.<br \/>\nFurthermore, JLL is upbeat on upcoming hotel transactions.<br \/>\n\u201cThe hospitality sector continues its upward trend in Asia Pacific, so we are seeing a strong pipeline of deals for 2017 and beyond.
