\nChinese developer Country Garden has closed all mainland China sales centres for its flagship Malaysian housing project amid Beijing\u2019s intensified crackdown on capital flight.
\nOn Thursday the South China Morning Post visited the project\u2019s biggest Shanghai showroom on Tianshan Road, which only opened last October. The gate was locked and the showroom empty.
\nA notice on the glass door said \u201cunder renovation\u201d but no renovation activities could be seen inside.
