\nWhen the mortgage money wasn\u2019t sent in time, it was a disaster \u2026 and no one can locate itI was due to complete the purchase of a house in Enfield on 19 December 2016. The completion did not take place, as my solicitors did not receive the mortgage funds of \u00a3364,000 in time. This was due from the lender, Birmingham Midshires, which is part of the Lloyds Banking Group. A complaint was opened to investigate where the funds had got to. The lender\u2019s response was that they were released correctly, and it didn\u2019t offer any real help. Continue reading…
