\nThe GST Voucher \u2013 U-Save rebate helps HDB households offset part of their utilities bills.
\nThe Ministry of Finance on Sunday (1 January) revealed that around 860,000 Singaporean HDB households will receive the next instalment of the GST Voucher \u2013 Utilities-Save (U-Save) rebate this month.
\nDepending on their HDB flat type, eligible Singaporean households will each get a GST Voucher \u2013 U-Save of up to $65.
\nDistributed every quarter and expected to cost $190 million annually, the U-Save rebate helps HDB households offset part of their utilities bills, effectively reducing their overall household expenses.
\nThose living in one- and two-room HDB flats are able to offset around three to four months of utilities bills on average annually, while those living in three- and four-room HDB flats, about one to two months of utilities bills.
\nHowever, households whose members own more than one property are not eligible for the GST Voucher \u2013 U-Save, said the ministry.
