Countrywide\u2019s local agent in Exeter expected the tenant to pay \u00a3360 as a \u201ctenancy fee\u201d, \u00a390 for \u201cadmin\u201d, \u00a360 for \u201creferencing\u201d, \u00a390 for the \u201ccheck-in\u201d, \u00a390 for a \u201cguarantor\u201d and \u00a3120 for the \u201cdeed of guarantee\u201d. He chose not to move in at the weekend; if he had there would be a further \u00a372 for \u201cSaturday check-in\u201d.
