\nGlasgow city council is chasing me for council tax arrears from 2002 even though I never missed a paymentBPO Collections have written to me trying to recover some council tax arrears on behalf of Glasgow city council. The amount outstanding is \u00a3106.02 and relates to charges for 2002 when I\u00a0left the property mid-way through the year. I went to Edinburgh for 18 months but then returned to Glasgow where I\u00a0have continued to pay council tax via\u00a0direct debit and have never missed a payment. This letter turned up out of the blue as Glasgow city council appear not to have been able to find me on their system in the eight or so subsequent years since I returned to Glasgow.
