So anyone who has a career tied up in the fame game needs to have a watertight plan B to fall back on when things turn sour.A survey last year by the sector skills council, Lifelong Learning, found that one in six respondents had switched careers three times, while seven in 10 had changed at least once. Take into account the cut and thrust of having a career in the public eye and these ratios can be even higher.
