\nRics members forecast 3.3% a year increase in house prices as initial post-referendum shock recedesConfidence is returning to the housing market after the initial shock of the Brexit vote and there are signs that prices and sales will rise in the coming months, according to the latest monthly report from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Rics).Immediately after the EU referendum on 23 June, Rics forecast a sharp fall in sales and said its members were more pessimistic about the housing market than at any point since the late 1990s.
