\nAlex Noble\u2019s live-work space is awash with rescued relics, making his decor just as recycled as his fashion. By Nell Card There are a lot of strange things in Alex Noble\u2019s live-work studio. The weirdest is probably what he calls \u201cthe green fist\u201d \u2013 an oversized green Hulk hand that sits on a shelf above his computer. Noble reaches over and puts it on: \u201cWe thought we\u2019d do this\u201d \u2013 he punches the air \u2013 \u201cevery time something good and ethical happens in the studio.\u201dNoble is an artist, stylist and fashion designer with an aversion to creating more clothes. \u201cI am constantly overwhelmed by the amount of clothes that exist,\u201d he says. Three years ago, he went from creating one-off, avant-garde designs for style icons such as Lady Gaga and Florence Welch to launching Everything Must Go (EMG) \u2013 an ethical creative design initiative that uses waste material produced by the fashion industry as a way to challenge \u201cdestructive consumption\u201d.
