\nDubai’s Emaar Properties has unveiled another two-tower project in the Opera District in Downtown Dubai. The company said that the towers will be 52 storeys and 46 storeys high, and called Act One and Act Two respectively. The towers will contain a combined 718 new residential units as well as ground floor retail units and cafes, a health club, spa and swimming pools. Emaar said that sales of the units would begin at its sales centre at Harrods in London on Wednesday, and would then go on sale to customers at its Emaar Sales Centre in Downtown Dubai on Thursday. It did not release details of prices for the units, nor did it disclose when the towers would be built.The company said that residents of the towers would benefit from its proximity to Dubai’s Opera House, which is due to open later this month.Ahmed Al Matrooshi, the managing director of Emaar Properties, said: “Act One | Act Two are truly a defining destination of choice for all culturally inclined as they now have the unique value proposition of living right next door to Dubai Opera.”The developer said the project has been launched following earlier investor interest in its Dubai Grand and twin-towered Forte apartments within the Opera District. Last month, Emaar also announced the launch in London of the 77-storey Il Primo tower project in the district offering buyers apartments taking up either half or a whole floor at a price of about \u00a3500 (Dh2,4000 per sq ft).
