\n A Ukip MEP\u2019s leadership bid nomination was received 17 minutes past the midday deadline. We\u2019d like to hear your experiences of application blunders Steven Woolfe, a Ukip MEP, has insisted his application to lead his party was sent on time, despite the nomination not being received until 12.17pm on Sunday, 17 minutes past the midday deadline. \u201cI was actually on the phone with one of the Ukip officials at four minutes to 12 telling them I\u2019m pressing the button for submit and he was saying, \u2018We can\u2019t see it, take photographs of it,\u2019 which I did.
