Despite the turbulence of the slowing Chinese economy, the ongoing cooling measures in Hong Kong and first-tier cities, and a significant decline in property values in Macau, China real estate is still one of the biggest in Asia and the world, and the country remains a top producer of world-class and innovative developments.
“Don’t count China out – some of Asia-Pacific’s best developments can be found here,” said Blackburn. “It is an honour to welcome the participation of China’s major developers and emerging players year after year.”
He added: “These entrants raise the benchmark of quality in the Chinese property sector and we are proud to have laid the foundations – since 2014 when we first launched in China – for their continued success in this country and across the region via our internationally-acclaimed Asia Property Awards programme, which is known for its fairness, transparency and credibility.”
Finalists will be announced in the final week of October 2016.
