Now popular Cornish tourist destinations are rising up against the incomersThis summer, as holidaymakers walk along the Atlantic-facing cliffs around St Just, the nearest town to Land\u2019s End in west Cornwall, they will come across a sign that says: \u201cEnglish out.\u201d It keeps being retouched. It is one of the reminders that there are still tensions between the annual flood of incomers and the Cornish, who were granted the same Celtic minority status as the Scots, Irish and Welsh in 2014.
