\nAfter a fire, the designer has revamped his Gloucestershire cottage, partly inspired by his love of the debauched side of the ancient worldWe are in the kitchen of Luke Edward Hall\u2019s rural fantasy in Gloucestershire, talking about a near catastrophe that led to him and his husband Duncan Campbell to redecorate the cottage they rent, when there\u2019s a knock on the door.\u201cOh, it\u2019s my tea cosy,\u201d says Hall. After a 10-minute negotiation over post-Brexit customs charges, the tea cosy is delivered. \u201cIt\u2019s by Svenskt Tenn,\u201d he says. \u201cIt\u2019s hard to get a good tea cosy.
