\nGuocoLand has unveiled plans for Guoco Midtown II, an expansion of Guoco Midtown. The\u00a0mega mixed-use development along Beach Road will also come with the inclusion of a second residential project known as Midtown Modern
\nLocated at Tan Quee Lan Street, the condominium project comprises two 30-storey towers with over 500 apartment units in a forest garden setting and a retail podium.
\nIn a release, the property developer revealed that unit types will range from one-bedroom to four-bedroom units.
\n\u201cResidents will enjoy large green spaces and a wide range of recreational facilities not usually found in Central Business District projects,\u201d it said, adding that more details will be revealed at a later date.
\nWith the expansion of Guoco Midtown II, the total Gross Floor Area (GFA) will now be\u00a01.5 million sq ft,\u00a0sprawling over 3.2 hectares (ha) of prime land.\u00a0The mixed-use development will feature a 30-storey office tower, two condominiums (Midtown Bay and Midtown Modern), three concept retail clusters and a five-storey Network Hub building \u2013 the first-of-its-kind purpose-built social and business networking club.
\nIts first residential development, Midtown Bay, offered 219 condominium units that are spread across a 33-storey tower.

\nThe developer noted that the units at the development were designed \u201cwith a flexible home concept that allows residents to adapt it for living, use as an office or for entertaining friends, family or business associates\u201d.
\n\u201cThe two- and three-bedroom duplex units provide owners a unique opportunity to use the lower floor as a home office or for entertaining, while keeping the upper floor for private residential use,\u201d it added.
\nGuoco Midtown is set to be completed in phases from 2022 to 2024. The multi-billion development is expected to bring an additional 10,000 residents, office workers and visitors daily into the district.
\nThe mixed-use development is led by GuocoLand with a group of investors \u2013 Hong Leong Holdings, Hong Realty and Hong Kong-listed Guoco Group.
